Overview

The Leupold BX-5 Santiam HD combines fixed 10x magnification with 42mm objectives in an open-bridge roof-prism binocular. Its 341-foot field of view balances detailed observation with broad-area scanning, while 16.6mm eye relief and twist-up eyecups support comfortable viewing. Fully multi-coated HD optics, phase-coated prisms, DiamondCoat 2 and Guard-Ion lens treatments are designed to maintain clarity, contrast and color fidelity while helping exterior lenses resist abrasion, water and dirt. The rubber-armored body is waterproof, fogproof and equipped with a built-in 1/4-20 tripod-adapter port for supported glassing.
