Shopping & Online Orders
What does “Available from Warehouse” mean?
Products marked Available from Warehouse are available through one of our distribution partners rather than physically stocked at our Madisonville store. Products marked In Stock at MadGunCo are currently stocked at our Madisonville location.
Can I order online and pick up at Madisonville Gun Company?
Yes. Local customers can order eligible products online and arrange pickup through Madisonville Gun Company. Firearms and other regulated items remain subject to the applicable transfer and eligibility requirements.
Do you ship firearms nationwide?
We ship eligible firearm orders to appropriately licensed dealers where lawful. The receiving dealer completes the required transfer before the firearm is released to the purchaser.
Are online prices different from in-store prices?
Some products may have special online pricing because our website includes inventory available through our distribution partners in addition to products physically stocked in the store. Local pickup is available on eligible orders.
Transfers, Used Firearms & Suppressors
Do you accept firearm transfers from other dealers?
Yes. Madisonville Gun Company accepts eligible firearm transfers from other licensed dealers. Contact us if you have questions about an incoming transfer or need our dealer information.
Do you take trade-ins?
Yes. We accept firearm trade-ins and can evaluate your firearm at the store. Values vary according to condition, model, current demand and other factors.
Do you buy used firearms?
Yes. Madisonville Gun Company buys, sells and trades used firearms. Bring the firearm to the store for an evaluation.
Do you sell suppressors?
Yes. We stock and sell suppressors and can help customers understand the required purchase and transfer process. Our website also includes suppressors available through our distribution partners.
Rood Range & Membership
Do I need a membership to use Rood Range?
Rood Range offers both daily access and yearly membership options. Yearly membership is designed for customers who shoot regularly and provides additional member benefits.
What does a Rood Range membership include?
Yearly membership includes range access during normal operating hours, household-family benefits, guest privileges, preferred member pricing and access to member activities and events.
How far can I shoot at Rood Range?
Rood Range offers rifle, pistol, shotgun and archery shooting opportunities, including rifle shooting out to approximately 350 yards.
Training
Do you offer Kentucky concealed carry training?
Yes. Madisonville Gun Company offers Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons training with classroom instruction and the required live-fire portion conducted at Rood Range.
Can 18–20 year olds take Kentucky CCDW training?
Eligible students ages 18–20 may currently complete Kentucky CCDW training under the Commonwealth's provisional licensing process. Licensing eligibility and requirements are determined by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Madisonville Gun Company and Rood Range are normally open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Holiday, weather or special-event hours may occasionally vary.
